Rudolf Laban, “a visionary, mystic, lover, leader, dancer, artist, teacher, and theorist” developed a revolutionary method of movement notation, Labanotation, that is in use today.
Laban was acquainted with Carl Jung and is remembered for using movement and dance to show the interconnectedness of the body and the psyche, the individual and the group.
