Henry Armstrong, the son of sharecroppers of African American, Irish, and Native American descent, is regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all time.
Armstrong has the distinction of being the only boxer to hold three world championships at the same time and also defended the Welterweight championship more times than any other fighter. After retiring from the ring, he became a Baptist minister.
