Marge and Gower Champion were a popular dance team in the late 1940s through the 1950s, appearing on TV and in movies.
After the couple divorced Marge continued working as a dance teacher and choreographer, last appearing in a 1982 segment of the TV program Fame. As a teen she was hired by Disney as a dance model for animated films such as Snow White, Pinocchio and the Dancing Hippo in Fantasia. Marge's half sister was actress Lina Basquette, and the step mother of Katey Sagal (Married with Children).

Lottie Collins was a music hall entertainer best known for her skirt dancing while singing Ta-ra-ra-Boom-de-ay! The tune is very familiar - think Howdy Doody. Collins’ sequined garters that flashed when her skirts flew up on the high kick of BOOM, were sold at a Sotheby's auction. Collins was sister-in-law to soprano Maggie Teyte.

Marie-Anne de Cupis de Camargo, known simply as “La Camargo”, was an innovative and popular ballet dancer who appeared in 78 ballets and operas over her career.
Camargo was the first to shorten the skirt of her costume, dance in slippers rather than heeled shoes, and was the first woman to execute the entrechat quatre (the dancer jumps into the air and rapidly crosses the legs before and behind each other - four times).
