Taos Pueblo, belonging to a Northern Tiwa speaking Native American tribe of Pueblo people. It is approximately 1000 years old and lies at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico, about 1 mile north of the modern city of Taos.
Made of adobe walls that are several feet thick, Taos is the largest multistoried Pueblo structure still existing.
FYI ~ Carl Gustav Jung visited the Taos Pueblo in 1925.

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is located on a plain to the west of the Altai Mountains, in Central Asia. Tashkent was founded at an oasis between Shymkent and Samarkand. The underlying geology produced a 7.5 earthquake in 1966.
FYI - the name Tashkent means “stone city”.
