Lady and the Tramp is a 1955 animated film about a female American Cocker Spaniel named Lady who lives a pampered life with a refined, upper middle-class family, and a male stray mutt called the Tramp.

Lassie, a fictional collie dog character and a stage name for several dog actors. In 1943 a film adaption, Lassie Come Home, starred a young Elizabeth Taylor and Roddy McDowell. Lassie was created by author Eric Knight.
